Base Notarization
$10 per notarial act
A notarial act is determined by the certificate completed, not the number of signatures. For example:
- One signer + one certificate = one notarial act
- Multiple signatures by the same person in the same document still count as one act
- Two certificates (e.g., acknowledgment + jurat) = two acts
- Each additional signer requires their own certificate
Mobile Travel Fees
Travel fees apply for mobile appointments and are based on distance from Missoula.
- Within Missoula city limits: $10 flat fee
- East Missoula, Lolo, Bonner: $15
- Turah, Frenchtown, Florence: $20
- Clinton, Huson, Arlee: $25
- Alberton, Stevensville, Potomac: $30
- Charlo, Hamilton: $45
- Seeley Lake: $50
- Superior: $55
- Over 60 miles: $10 per 10 miles (one way) — or consider Remote Online Notarization (RON)
Convenience Fees
- After-hours appointments (after 7 PM): +$10
- Holiday appointments: +$20
- Printing fee: $0.25 per page
